Is the $ 299 PS3 Blu-Ray player casual game?

I have had the 360 as long as they are away. I think of the PS3 for Blu-Ray aspect. I am probably not Muli-system 360 games and still probably only get 2 or 3, PS3 exclusive a year. Is the $ 299 price tag in favor of Blu-Ray player and 2 or 3 games year, or stand alone player better option?

Yes, it's worth it. I can give three reasons also useful: 1 PS3 can be updated firmware updates over the Internet. Firmware updates can improve every aspect of the console and the Blu-Ray player is no exception. Only the best stand-alone models for something like this, and they go well over $ 600. In fact, the PS3 is only better because you can use either a wired or wireless internet connection, I think those top models provide an Ethernet port and no Wi-Fi. 2. PS3 is one of the best players in the DVD and HD-upconversion (Converts DVD-and HD resolutions). Personally, I think this became the firmware update, its an example of improved Blu-Ray player half through firmware updates. 3. PS3 uses the Cell processor for excellent sound processing. This means that the PS3 is able to produce sounds that most other stand-alone players will not be able to produce. Many experts and home theater PS3 fans have been praised as one of the best Blu-ray and money (even though it was priced at $ 400), because the features it offers.
